The General Obligation Bonds were authorized at an election of the registered voters of the Brawley Elementary School District held on November 8, 2016, which authorized the issuance of $14,000,000 principal amount of general obligation bonds, known as Measure M, for the purpose of financing the renovation, construction and improvement of school facilities (the “2016 Authorization”).
