SUMMER ACADEMY
Adventure Awaits! is an exciting summer academy where students will learn through exploration, creativity, and hands-on discovery. Students will engage in robotics engineering, virtual reality space exploration, and collaborative enrichment activities designed to build problem-solving, teamwork, and curiosity. The program is open to returning BESD students entering Kindergarten through Grade 6 for the 2026–2027 school year.

PPMS SIM Racing Camp
Get ready to shift into high gear at the SIMS Racing Camp where students will experience the excitement of motorsports, engineering, and esports through hands-on racing simulation challenges! Campers will customize race settings, analyze performance data, make strategic decisions, and compete as part of a racing team while building teamwork and problem-solving skills. This high-energy camp connects students to real-world career pathways in automotive technology, engineering, transportation systems, and applied STEM fields. Open to incoming 7th and 8th graders only.
BW Level Up Summer Camp
Get ready for an epic summer at Barbara Worth’s Game Design & Anime Camp, where you’ll create your own characters, design game levels, build story worlds, and bring your ideas to life! Work with friends on creative challenges, test out your designs, and showcase your projects just like real game developers and digital artists. If you love gaming, anime, art, storytelling, or technology, this is your chance to level up your creativity and have fun this summer! Open to incoming 7th and 8th graders only.
MLS GO PROGRAM
Get ready to play, learn, and grow! The Major League Soccer (MLS) Go Youth Soccer Program offers BESD students in grades TK-6 a fun, safe, and no-cost opportunity to build soccer skills, teamwork, and confidence through weekly practices, games, and seasonal clinics. Led by trained coaches in partnership with the Brawley Police Department, this program promotes physical fitness, positive mentorship, and community connection.
TROPICAL LUAU INTERSESSION DAY
Students will participate in a variety of fun, hands-on activities inspired by island traditions including a limbo contest, coconut relay, and learning basic hula dance movements. They will create tropical-themed crafts like tiki masks and seashell art while also making their own fruit kebabs to enjoy. In the afternoon, students will cool off and celebrate with water fun including a splash pad to end the day with a fun and refreshing island-style experience.
SMART START SATURDAYS
Give your child a boost by registering for Smart Start Saturdays! Students will engage in ELA and Math activities aligned to grade-level standards-all while making up missed days of school. Open to All Kinder - 8th Grade students!
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Register your child for the after school program for the 2025-2026 school year! We offer diverse activities to encourage learning and fun in the afternoons. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your child's after school experience- secure their spot today! Open to students in grades TK through 8th grade at all BESD school sites.
