Recently our 2nd Grade DLI classes, headed by Mrs. Moreno and Mrs. Estrada, organized an interactive wax museum. Students portrayed actors, musicians, artists, and other iconic individuals, and recited a short biography of the individual they portrayed, in both English and Spanish. Fellow schoolmates cheered on the students as they walked the "red carpet", and friends and family partook in the interactive elements when the students stationed themselves in the cafeteria. It was a great time for everyone involved, and hopefully something we can continue to do annually, to share the talent and creativity of our Oakley Otters.
