Dear J.W. Oakley Families, 

My name is Hidali Garcia and I am excited to introduce myself as the principal of J.W. Oakley Elementary School, home of the Otters.  I am honored to lead Oakley's dedicated staff, along with the dynamic teachers and classified staff.  I will work hard to cultivate good citizenship, daily attendance and provide rigorous academic experiences for all our students. 

My passion for education has been shaped over the past 29 years as a teacher, resource teacher, county, site and district administrator.  This year will be my 29th year in education.  On a personal note, I would like to share that I grew up in Brawley, I continue to live here and attended Oakley.
