Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Miguel Hidalgo Elementary! We are excited to partner with you once again as we embark on another year of learning and growth for your children. Our theme for this year is “Let the Adventure Begin” so let’s have an amazing year.
This year, we are focused on a key goal: ensuring that all of our students are reading at grade level by the time they reach 3rd grade. We believe that strong reading skills are the foundation for academic success, and we are committed to working closely with you to make this goal a reality. Our teachers have prepared targeted programs and resources to support every student on their journey to becoming confident readers.
Your involvement is crucial in this effort, and we encourage you to stay engaged with your child’s progress throughout the year. We’ll be offering workshops, resources, and tips on how you can support reading at home, and we’re always here to answer any questions you may have.
As we begin this school year, we also look forward to reconnecting with you at our upcoming events, including Back-to-School Night and Parent-Teacher Conferences. These will be great opportunities to discuss your child’s progress, share our plans for the year, and strengthen our partnership.
