Today, our 4th and 5th grade Oakley Otters had the chance to learn about our new involvement with the Sandy Hook Promise, Say Something Anonymous Reporting System. The Say Something reporting system allows staff and students to report anonymous tips in regards to acts of violence, bullying, social emotional issues, and school threats (among other topics). And this is all in an effort to prevent issues before they occur, and give students a voice to say what they see, without the fear of retaliation.
More information will be passed along to students during the coming weeks, but the following will be the three ways that students can submit an anonymous tip:
